“The Bravewell Collaborative convenes talented, knowledgeable, passionate and creative individuals and organizations dedicated to the advancement of integrative medicine. Working to improve health care with institutions like PBS (the two-part special, The New Medicine); the Institute of Medicine (Summit on Integrative Medicine); The University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine (Bravewell Fellowship) and the National Institutes of Health (NINR Fellowship) is a chance of a lifetime.”

How to be Involved

Bravewell Members

Members of The Bravewell Collaborative

Bravewell Collaborative members work in partnership with like-minded philanthropists, institutions, organizations and medical leaders across the nation to improve our health care system through the advancement of integrative medicine.

Those involved in Bravewell are dedicated to supporting strategic programs with high impact. There are many ways to participate.

Bravewell Members

The Bravewell Collaborative is comprised of philanthropists who work in close collaboration with each other to help transform health care. Members gather twice a year to review progress and plan for the future. During these meetings, members engage with leading physicians and top health care officials from across the nation, participate in continuous learning about integrative medicine and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their philanthropy yield far-reaching results.

Membership requires a significant investment of both time and funding. However, all donations to this operating foundation receive maximum deductibility. Philanthropists interested in becoming members should contact the Bravewell office.

Bravewell Partners

Bravewell Partners are foundations, organizations or corporations that embrace the vision of integrative medicine and provide support for joint projects, side-by-side funding, or pro bono services for existing Bravewell initiatives.

Friends of Bravewell

Individuals wishing to further the cause can become a Friend of Bravewell by making a contribution of any appropriate amount. Bravewell Friends receive information on the work of Bravewell and invitations to Bravewell events.

The Community of Bravewell

Bravewell also welcomes connection with medical practitioners and patients to help inform its work in improving health care and the practice of medicine.

  • Practitioners

If you have an integrative medicine best practice to share, please submit it here. Cases are reviewed by a jury of Bravewell Clinical Network leaders. Selected cases will be included in Bravewell's Best Practices program and shared with other clinics and practitioners worldwide.

  • Patients

If you have your own integrative medicine story to share, please submit it here. Some stories will be posted on this site or included in Bravewell materials and presentations to help demonstrate the power of integrative approaches to care.
